We are Tim and Tanya, the founders behind 4 Point Touring. 4 Point Touring was born from a dream of helping people travel to the furthest parts of Australia, in the easiest way possible.
After years of camping and exploring the hidden beauties of Queensland’s coastline, we finally hit the road to see what the rest of Australia had to offer. Tim spent months searching for the perfect canopy, without finding one that ticked all his boxes. The design had to be smart in its use of space, light-weight, convenient and reasonably priced. As a qualified carpenter, with years of cabinet-making and shop fitting experience, Tim eventually changed his focus and started to build his own. When he was done, we had the design we wanted for a fraction of the price.
Our canopy made travelling effortless, and offered us the comfort of convenience while we were out making memories. On our trip we met many people with questions on how we got ourselves ready to travel, life on the road, our vehicle and canopy set-up. We spent a lot of time talking and listening to other’s stories, and understanding everyone’s experiences and pain points.

By the time our trip had come to an end, 4 Point Touring had been born. We think of 4 Point as an extension of us, building custom designs for vehicles and canopies, while offering touring and travel tips to help make someone else’s journey easier. Now while we’re on our journey to visit all four points of Australia, and everywhere in between, we can help others get there too.
At 4 Point Touring, our vision is simple: To give our customers quality products, service and advice, to take your adventures to the next level. We want to help you get to the hidden beaches of Tropical North Queensland, to experience the magic of an Outback sunset, or to swim in the incredible shades of blue across Western Australia’s coastline, and hey, maybe we’ll see you there!
