Terms & Conditions

By engaging 4 Point Touring (“we”, “us”, “our”) for services or purchasing products, you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Services & Products

4 Point Touring provides custom 4WD fitouts and related products. Designs and quotes may be facilitated online, however all builds and handovers occur in person at our Brisbane workshop. Products may also be sold online. Online product availability and pricing are subject to change without notice.

Bookings, Deposits & Payments

All bookings are by appointment only and must be made directly via email or phone. A 50% deposit is required to lock in your build spot, 25% will be due upon commencement and 25% due upon completion, prior to handover. Payment is accepted by bank transfer only. Changes requested outside of the agreed design may incur additional fees.

For cancellations, 10% of the deposit and any products already ordered are non-refundable.

Completion & Handover

While we take all care to meet estimated completion dates, timing may vary due to supplier delays or industry conditions. Estimated dates are indicative only and not a guarantee. 4 Point Touring is not responsible for any costs, losses, or scheduling impacts arising from delays, including those related to other pre-booked services, trips or commitments made by the customer.

Once your build is complete, 4 Point Touring will contact you to arrange a suitable handover date and time. All handovers must be completed in person in the Brisbane workshop unless otherwise agreed. Completion dates are estimates only and may vary due to supplier delays or unforeseen circumstances. The final payment (25%) must be received in full, prior to handover. Vehicles or products will not be released until payment has cleared.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle and fitout carefully during handover. Acceptance of the vehicle at handover signifies that the fitout or product has been completed to the agreed design and specification, unless otherwise noted in writing. If any minor adjustments are required, these will be addressed as soon as reasonably practical. Any design issues identified after handover must be reported to 4 Point Touring in writing within 7 days. Any reported after this timeframe may incur an additional fee.

Vehicles must be collected in a timely manner once notified. If the vehicle is not collected within a reasonable time after completion, storage fees may apply.

Freight of products is available Australia-wide at the buyer’s expense. Delivery timeframes will align with the chosen freight company; 4 Point Touring is not responsible for delays beyond our control.

Vehicle / Canopy Collection Prior to Completion

If a vehicle and/or canopy is collected prior to completion for any reason, 4 Point Touring will invoice for all work performed and products ordered to date. Payment will be required prior to collection. Any products already fitted to the vehicle will be charged in full. Products ordered but not yet installed may be collected by the customer, but 4 Point Touring accepts no responsibilities for their storage, handling or condition once collected. Early collection of the vehicle and/or canopy voids any applicable workmanship warranty for incomplete sections of the build. 4 Point Touring is not liable for any damage, malfunction, or performance issues arising from incomplete installation or subsequent third-party work. Rebooking the build for completion at a later date will require a new booking and may incur additional labour and scheduling fees.

Warranty & Guarantee

4 Point Touring provides a 12-month warranty on workmanship for all fitouts, starting from the date of handover. This warranty covers defects in workmanship directly related to the installation or build.

Products or components supplied by third-party manufacturers are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist customers in liaising with the manufacturer if a claim arises but are not responsible for decisions made by the manufacturer.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or modification of the fitout or products.
  • Damage resulting from accidents, off-road use beyond the product’s design, or exposure to harsh environmental conditions.
  • Issues caused by work carried out by another party after handover.

To make a warranty claim, please contact 4 Point Touring in writing with proof of purchase and details of the issue. We may require inspection of the vehicle or product to assess the claim. If a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will repair or replace the faulty component or workmanship at our discretion.

All warranty work must be completed at our Brisbane workshop. The Customer is responsible for delivering the vehicle and/or canopy to the workshop and for all associated costs, including transport, insurance, and any other expenses. 4 Point Touring is not responsible for any costs incurred in transporting the vehicle or canopy.

Intellectual Property & Website Use

All content on the 4 Point Touring website and social media, including text, images, designs, and logos, is owned by 4 Point Touring. Copying, reproducing, or misusing any content without written permission is prohibited.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, 4 Point Touring is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from services, products, or website use.

The Customer must ensure that any products or custom fitouts purchased or installed are compatible with their vehicle, suitable for their intended purpose, and meet all applicable local laws, safety standards, and regulations. 4 Point Touring is not responsible for any consequences arising from non-compliance or misuse.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

4 Point Touring reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website, and continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
